Background:
The CIRP Freshman Survey is a national survey sponsored by the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) that is completed by over 400,000 entering students at approximately 700 higher education institutions. The information collected via this survey provides valuable baseline data about our new student population. Further, since UCLA has participated in the CIRP Freshman Survey for over 30 years, we have collected valuable information on trends over time.
